Music Ministry   Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. Psalm 98:4 (KJV) We are glad to offer many opportunities to praise the Lord through music.   We invite YOU to join in! See below for all we have to offer at Hunton Baptist Church.   PRESCHOOL CHOIR: Three and four year olds. This group works on music and movement in a nurturing and loving environment and sings in "big church" at Christmas and on Mother's Day. CHILDREN'S CHOIR: Kindergarten through 5th grade. A fun, energetic group that learns singing, note reading, music basics and drama. This group presents an amazing pageant each Christmas! YOUTH CHOIR: Grades 6-12. This group learns the Christian "pop-praise" music that is so popular with young people today. The group also sings with the adult choir many times throughout the year! YOUTH CHRISTIAN ROCK BAND: Grades 8-12. Our newest group really "rocks the house!" as they learn how to interpret and play some of the harder edged Christian music. This group plays for youth "lock-ins" and with the Youth Choir on occasion. HANDBELL CHOIR: Grade 9-Adult. This dedicated group "Rings to the Lord" monthly at the 11 a.m. service. In addition, our handbells are very active in the community and often travel to far away places to ring! We are blessed to have a vibrant, active handbell ministry at Hunton Baptist Church! ADULT CHOIR: This amazing group of volunteers leads the 11 a.m. service through song and often sings at 1ST PRAISE, our early service, as well! The choir is Worship focused and shares a wonderful fellowship. PRAISE BAND: High energy band - with horns - that leads our music during 1ST PRAISE. PRAISE TEAMS: Small vocal group that lead worship at 1ST PRAISE, our early service. HUNTON BRASS: This instrumental group plays primarily during the Christmas season, but has been known to play at Easter time as well! WORSHIP BAND: An instrumental group made up of current and former band students that plays for services at various times throughout the year.
