On April 2nd, dinner will begin at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.  Following dinner, we will move into the sanctuary for our Maundy Thursday program. Communion will be served during the program.

Easter Cross of Flowers

The Cross of Flowers is an Easter morning tradition at HBC. Remember to bring a flower or two to put on the cross outside the sanctuary on Easter morning. You are also welcome to bring greenery to tuck in around the flowers. This is a reminder that the cross is empty -- Jesus Christ has risen!

New Exercise Class

We meet each Monday at 6:00 PM, so we don't interfere with Bible study and Deacons' meetings that start at 7:00 p.m. We'll start slow with a walking in place program led by a DVD by Leslie Samsone, then perhaps do some dance programs like Zumba and various dances of the 90's. Sounds like fun as we increase the heart rate! Join us and bring a friend. If possible, arrive ten minutes early to help move furniture.

The L.O.V.E. Board

The Missions Team is excited to start a new partnership with Elmont and Greenwood elementary schools.  To let you know about the school needs as they arise, a new bulletin board has been mounted at the end of the breezeway hall and on the left as you turn to go into the Education Building.  We are calling this the L.O.V.E. board – “Local Opportunities to Value Everyone”. As local missions opportunities arise, heart-shaped tags identifying the needs are placed on the board.  Take a tag, purchase the item (or contact someone if it’s a request for volunteer time), and return the item and tag to the L.O.V.E. drop-off bin. Please prayerfully consider the requests and how God might lead you.

Spiritual Checkpoint

The third Sunday of each month at the conclusion of the 11:00 worship service, the Pastor invites everyone interested in asking spiritual, biblical, and/or church-related questions to spend a few mintues with him in a casual, informal, non-threatening environment of fellowship.

Easter Sunrise Service

This year the sunrise service will be held at Hunton on Sunday, April 5th at 7:00 AM, with a light breakfast to follow in our Fellowship hall (no reservations needed).
