Sunday Evening Services There is something for the entire family on Sunday evenings at Hunton Baptist Church!   Adults: Adult Bible Study An adult bible study takes place on Sunday nights - usually at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise announced.  In the past studies have covered the Bible, Biblical topics, Christian issues, and even movies followed by Christian discussion and application. Youth: Youth Choir & Youth Program The youth are welcome to eat with the adults in the fellowship hall.  But eat fast, because at 5:20 p.m. Youth Choir begins!  Following choir, our regular Youth Program begins at 6:00 p.m. The Youth Group is divided on Sunday evenings into Youth Group 1 & 2.  The middle school and high school youth are separated to cater a program that better meets their particular needs. The youth meet other times during the month for many special opportunities to have fun together and serve the Lord.  For more information about our Youth Group, visit the Youth link. Children: Global Adventures (Food, Choir, and Missions) Preschoolers & Children rotate through a three-part program on Sunday evenings called Global Adventures.  Bring your child at 5:00 p.m. for a FREE kid-friendly meal in the children's own room.  After dinner, the children go to preschool or children's choir.  In addition to singing on special occasions  in church, these choirs also put on a Christmas program in December. After choir, the children attend a missions education program designed to spark your child's interest in missions and teach them about Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) missionaries through tasting, touching, sight, music, and participation.  Children will learn about CBF missionaries through hearing about their personal stories and adventures.  Also, children will participate in activities that allow them to experience various cultures from around the globe. The children of Global Adventures also participate in special outings once a month, and kids in 3rd-6th grade annually attend PASSPORTkids.  Visit the Children link for more information about our active children's program at Hunton. Praise Band/Choir Rehearsals: Praise Band & Praise Teams Rehearsal At 7:05 p.m. following the above programs, the praise band and various praise teams rehearse.  In preparation for special music services around Christmas and Easter, the adult choir and other music teams may also rehearse.  Please check the Bulletin for an updated schedule of rehearsals.
